Dylan Stevens needed a distraction, and Maxine Cole seemed to fit the bill. Being a Dom has always made things difficult for Dylan to connect to his subs, leaving him a lonely man. Seeing that same loneliness in Maxine’s eyes from across the bar made Dylan act. Neither of them were prepared by the chemistry that happened between them in and out of bed. When Maxine’s true reason for seeking out Dylan comes out, just how will Dylan deal with the betrayal? When Maxine is injured in front of him, by the very men she was running from, just how far is Dylan willing to go to save the least likely woman to steal his heart?
What a FANTASTIC story!!!!! I am so happy that I got to review this one. Not only am a HUGE fan of Emma Hillman and all of her other works, but this one in particular has become my new favorite from her as an author. The story of Dylan and Maxine was a great mix of a BDSM relationship and the normalcy of every life. From beginning to end this story grabbed me by the glasses and didn’t let go until the last sentence. The sex was hot, realistic and made my iPad start to smoke. If you want a great story with BDSM, sexy men and a fantastic ending than this is a story that you need to pick up and add to your collection.
