31 Flavors of Kink is a great story about the variety of pleasure a person can find within the BDSM lifestyle and how each person or couple can pick and choose what works for them. This is not a cookie cutter BDSM story and for that alone it is highly recommended.
Sidney and Nick have a fairly successful marriage. Sidney’s biggest problem is that she doesn’t enjoy sex due to some thing in her past. Nick tries his best, but can’t seem to breakthrough until Sidney begins to share some of her fantasies. The things Sidney shares Nick has never even contemplated for them but he is intrigued. Sidney, like so many others, uses a book to introduce her husband to her fantasies.
Nick and Sidney start to explore different aspects of BDSM and Sidney’s fantasies. Then a slight problem arises and Sidney starts to talk to people online. When she shares some of her experiences with Nick she is subjected to ridicule and numerous hurtful comments that cause her to rethink what they are doing. But Nick, the wonderful man that he is, can fix this, can’t he?
There is a lot to enjoy with 31Flavors of Kink as this vanilla couple starts with sticking a toe into the pool of BDSM and then inching in further and further. As they explore their personal preferences and learn that there is a lot to choose from. Nick and Sidney try a lot and figure out some things work and others aren’t as pleasurable as first thought. That Is the joy of BDSM, there is something for everyone and whether other people agree with it or not, isn’t important.
