Abby is a young woman fighting to protect tigers in Texas where they can be kept as pets. She has opened her own sanctuary and works hard to give them the best possible care. When two Siberian tigers are rescued from hideous circumstances and brought to her sanctuary it changes her life forever.

Konar and Damian are the tigers saved and are not what they seem. When a flash flood threatens to destroy the sanctuary and kill all the residents, including Abby, things take a dramatic turn and the magic inside the tigers is unleashed.

Stuck in their tiger form the two were subjected to abuse at the hands of their “owner” before being brought to Abby’s sanctuary. Although they vowed to themselves they would never care for a human they both discover that Abby is their true mate and that together they become the saviours of the were-tiger race.

This is ultimately a “love conquers all” story and shows that together the three main characters can overcome anything. Mandy Monroe  has done an exceptional job with the characters in An Ambush of Tigers. You truly believe the love and devotion they each share for each other.

The story itself is very well written and it flows really well, keeping you engrossed in the action as well as their struggles to adapt to their new role. There are plenty of surprises that will keep you guessing from start to finish. This is a very addictive read and you can’t but hope that this is the first of many stories from Mandy Monroe that features this tantalising trio.
