Fulfilling the Contract is the sequel to The Initiation of Ms. Holly and the second story in the Mount Series. In Fulfilling the Contract, the reader follows Nick Chase and his fall down the rabbit hole into the world of Mount Vegas. Nick has a fling with a girl (Tanya) who works for Mount Vegas. Unbeknownst to Nick, by engaging in an unauthorized one night stand, Tanya has violated the terms of her contract with Mount Vegas and has forfeited her bonus, which she desperately needs. Tanya’s boss, Elsa Crane, agrees to give Tanya her bonus, if Nick will complete the last two months of Tanya’s contract in Tanya’s place. Nick is no prude, but he is still shocked when he discovers just what Mount Vegas and Tanya’s contract expect from him. However, he is intrigued by the adventure as well as the possibility of getting to know his potential new boss better. So, Nick agrees to finish out Tanya’s contract. However, things are not quite as they appear. Will Nick be able to do what is necessary to meet the requirements of Tanya’s contract? Will sparks fly between him and Elsa? And is what they are asking him to do even legal? You’ll have to read the story to find out these answers and more.

Fulfilling the Contract was a well written, exciting story with plot twists and intrigue guaranteed to keep any reader interested to the last page. While definitely a story about sex and intrigue, it is also a story with a lot of heart. The plot drives home the fact that family is not just comprised of the people related to you, but the people who are there for you when you need them most. It’s this heart that makes this book stand out amongst other erotica, in this reviewer’s opinion. The characters themselves are quirky and fun and their motivations seem realistic and believable. We don’t get much background story on the supplemental characters, but this isn’t really necessary to the plot or the enjoyment of the story.

As far as the Sting Factor, this book runs the gambit. It has everything from pet play to voyeurism to exhibitionism to F/m. It also has M/f, threesomes (m/f/m), corporal punishment, role-play, bondage and sex in public venues. All kink scenes are thoroughly described and very creative. Also, the kink scenes and the characters reactions within the scenes make sense with what you know of the characters, so the scenarios do not feel tacked on or artificial.

Overall, Fulfilling the Contract was a great book for anyone looking to spend an afternoon reading, because once you start it, you will have trouble putting it down.
