Review:
Let me start by saying that Mistress Divine is not for the faint of heart. There is a lot of triggers within the pages and a lot of acts that are very cruel and sadistic. I don’t think Mistress Divine is for the new BDSM readers for several reasons…
There isn’t much I enjoyed about the book, yet I did finish it because I was hoping for more and I did finally get it near the end! But that wasn’t enough to make up for the beginning of this story. With Mistress Divine being over 300 pages, I really expected an in depth story with characters who were believable, realistic and a plot I could become invested in – I didn’t get any of it. I found the writing to be disjointed and skip a lot. This story tends to be wordy when unnecessary and lacking description and depth when you would expect it.
