Death comes in various forms. Seductive and sometimes violent, the Reaper pervades into life like a thief in the night, and you’ll never know when he may strike. He holds a secret desire, one which has haunted him for a millennia, an obsession for an entity opposite of himself. If he could conquer her? Her powers of light and strength would complete his majesty of darkness.

After all, the Death Angel, Bane has a reputation to maintain, but how well will he deal with a blow to his fragile ego once he learns the truth about the object of his coveted obsession?

The Angel of Willpower, Willa Mae finds that her strength may be her downfall, as she fights hard to permeate mankind with the will to survive. In her quest to imbue hope and strength to those who despair, she steps on Death’s toes and he vows revenge on the dark beauty.

Review:

I’m not sure that I would categorize this as a true BDSM themed story. It’s short and even though there are only a handful of characters it still confused me. For me it wasn’t clear that Death, the Reaper, and Bane were the same person. Plus the characters weren’t very likeable to me; although this is so short it’s hard to feel any attachment to any of them.

One thing that bothered me were the terms like his “pleasure inducing tool” and her “tight cavern” or his filling every “nook and cranny of your pussy” during sex. And “weeping slit” always is a turn off to me, but that’s me.

Dragon shifter, Angus McNamara craves Julia with everything he has and seeks to consume the ebony beauty in more ways than one. His biggest challenge is bringing her to terms with what she is while claiming her as his Fire Mate, the way a true Connricualen Dragon should. However, Julia Jones has other plans. Or so she thinks…

Can they put their differences aside long enough to seize a chance at love, or will they forfeit their opportunity and continue their heated dance of dominance?

Review:

This short, fast paced book features Julia who is a curvy businesswoman working for Angus;  a sexy yet demanding man who drives her crazy in more ways than one.

Julia dreams of Angus and his tender loving side who cherishes her body and soul. Yet the fantasies morph into a nightmare when  she sees him turning into a beast. This beast does not scare her which only adds to her confusion. Julia senses there is something different about Angus yet she has no idea what. Drawn to him in ways she can’t understand she fights the attraction. One night Angus comes to her home and the result changes her life forever.

Remembering the words of her grandmother and the stories of her childhood she realises she and Angus are one and the same. Both hold a secret power and second nature inside them for they are both dragons.

When you first started writing, did you have any idea you’d be writing BDSM/kinky books? Do you write in any other genre?

Years ago before the e-publishing age when I wrote kinky letters to my SO, I really hadn’t planned on writing BDSM/kinky books. It wasn’t until March 2009 after reading books from so many fabulous authors that I decided to seriously sit down and write a story in this genre.

Are you actively involved in BDSM? If so how do you identify yourself? Dom(me)/sub? Top/bottom? Switch?

I’m definitely actively involved in BDSM with my SO and have been for many years. Although I must admit I’ve never ventured out into the BDSM world. We are just a very kinky couple so we have years of experience. I’m more of a submissive, but every now and again can be dominant with my man. I call him my wolf. ; )

At what point did you decide you wanted to write BDSM/kinky-themed erotica?

I don’t think it was a decision, it just started trickling out of me when I submitted Her Dark Desires, my first published book in 2009 to Sugar and Spice Press. I wanted to write about a dark, daring couple having very explicit sex. Dark vampire sex is the best!!

Do you write BDSM/kink erotica based on what you find interesting or sexy, or do you write more for your audience?

I generally write what I find interesting and sexy. Apparently my audience enjoys my sex scenes, so I’ll keep writing what I love. However, I’m always open to suggestions!
