This is a pair of very short stories, one involving BDSM, the other not. In Spring Cleaning, Leanore wakes up to a spring day that just cries out for cleaning, but she can’t bring herself to do it-until she decides to clean and organize her “toy” collection. She begins by using one of the toys-only to discover the hot man she has been fantasizing about is actually in her apartment and begins helping her use the toys.
In Summer’s Break, Gordon Summer resents the verbally abusive coach who is in charge of his summer volunteer position and can’t imagine what to expect when he goes to pick up the coach’s wife from the airport. What he finds is a cougar who uses mild BDSM, including orgasm denial, to provide him with a memorable afternoon.
Both stories were very hot, and worked as short stories with HFN in each case. I always feel like short stories never tell me enough about the people involved, but as short stories go, these are both complete within themselves. The author brings the reader straight into the story and provides hot action and likeable characters. I would like to read longer books by this writer.
