Review:

Dragons are one of the hottest shifters and I adore them.  A paranormal romance book with a dragon shifter plus BDSM is a must read.  In this third Hunters book, Duec, the leader of the hunters, finally reveals his demon type.  He’s actually not a demon but a dragon.  But wait, there is more.  He’s a dragon king.

This hot dominant dragon Duec wants something he thinks he can not have – Belinda.  Belinda is a Domme in his exclusive BDSM club, La Ceinture Noire.  This club cateers to the paranormal kind and still lets in humans for fun.  He’s watched the traumatized half-elf female grow into a sexy Dominatrix.  Belinda is in love with Duec since he rescued her from the goblins.  Growing up under his watchful eye, she doesn’t think she’ll have a hope to be his submissive.  Then again, can she submit to him when she’s a dominant?

Ms. Lorraine does a lovely job adding more pieces to this world she’s created.  It’s a magical world filled with demons, elves, witches, goblins and a dragon.  The added kinky twist is an erotic delight.  This is a smooth and easy read with smexy D/s scenes.  The tasty forced m/m under Belinda’s control is a nice touch.  The images of decadent gothic dungeons and castles make the story richer.

The conflict in this story is believable if predictable.  The mating bond is also expected and provides the desired happily ever after.  This fairy tale romance with an icy Domme submitting to an Alpha Dom is sweet and very enjoyable.  The BDSM is light and just right for those who want their paranormal romance to kick it up a notch.  This shifter romance is recommended for kinky readers who enjoy mating bonds and strong Alpha males.

Demons who are Dom? Demons running an exclusive BDSM club? How is this not flaming hot? This short steamy story enflamed my arousal. Holly is a quiet woman who receives a present to go to the BDSM club, La Ceinture Noire, for Christmas. Now, Holly doesn’t know anything about demons or even that they exist. All she knows is that her neighbor, Colin, is the rudest and anti-social man. She’s tried various ways to be neighborly which he’s rebuffed sharply each time.

Holly fantasizes about kinky sex, yet her mild vanilla life so far keeps her safe. Debating with herself, she summons courage and uses her Christmas gift. La Ceinture Noire is all she’s hope for and more. Her daring plan was to be auctioned off as a sex slave. Before this could happen, she’s whisked away by a very sex Dom. The bondage scene was HOT! Unable to see her Dom, she has to rely on his silky voice.

The story contains some great BDSM scenes as well as a demon world, hidden from the humans. The way the demons bond as mates reminds me of JR Ward’s Brotherhood series in a roundabout way. Basically, the men mate for life and these demon males are “brothers” fight the rogue demons. That is where the similar ends. I would have liked to learn more about these demons. They seem to have many various ones, similar to Kelly Armstrong’s Otherworld series. I’d like to learn more about the demons. Back to the characters – Colin is a solitary male since he isn’t exactly accept in either world fully. When he falls for Holly, a human, he’s distraught and behaves like a typical man – foolishly. It was kind of endearing watching a big tough guy lose it over a tiny female. Both Colin and Holly were appealing and engaging characters. The one character I want to learn more about is Duec who is part of the council of demon lords. I shiver thinking about how dominant he could be and what powers he may possess. I hope the series will have one book devoted to him. I recommend this fast read to BDSM readers who enjoy a bit of paranormal demon action.
