First of all this book is it is beautifully written with sensuality and intrigue. The smooth, inviting tone and flowing descriptive language made me enjoy what otherwise could be considered a formulaic tale.

The story follows a familiar tale of the old school horror plot: Car brakes down in the middle of nowhere in the dead of night and the tale unfolds from there. This is an overused plot but as you read this book full of sensuality, you just want to go along for the ride even if you might have an idea where its going. After reading only one or two pages of this book I was utterly engrossed and captivated by the intrigue and mystery, coupled with erotic tension.

Cirque Erotique is extremely short and feels more like a teasing trailer for a full length novel. I wanted it to be more and wished for a longer version. I also wished for more BDSM and kink but overall this is a highly enjoyable read for anyone who enjoys a classic mystery with an erotic twist.
