I’m here to talk about my new release, The Calling – book two in my series, The Laws of Segregation. The Calling is a fantasy romance, mainly set on another world—-Arroway (with the occasional, usually unplanned, visit to Earth) and while I would not term it BDSM, there is a strong element of bondage.
On Arroway, witches have been persecuted for a thousand years. They are castrated of their magic at birth and made to serve as pleasure slaves to the Order of Warlocks. Once natural mates, sexual relations between witches and warlocks are now tightly controlled. Intercourse is forbidden, except as part of a strictly controlled breeding program. The warlocks take vows, and the only relief they are allowed is at the mouths of the pleasure slaves.
Which means most of the warlocks are virgins.
In book one of the series, Shayla, the heroine, is a young witch who has escaped the Order. Tallon is the warlock sent to kill her. But when Tallon starts the spell to end her life, Shayla counters with magic so strong it rips them from their own world and into another – Earth. Here they must learn to work together and re-forge the bond that once tied witches and warlocks as one. And Shayla must teach Tallon everything she knows about love.
In The Calling, book two, the story is continued with Freya, a runaway pleasure slave who discovers she is key to the survival of their whole world.
Blurb:
On the world of Arroway, witches have been persecuted for a thousand years, stripped of their magic at birth and kept as slaves by the Order of Warlocks.
