Polly just wants this week to be over. Living in Atlanta is usually a dream, until the sci fi convention comes through each year, bigger than the last. It means crazy hours at the restaurant with crazy people and usually crappy tips. Having a wardrobe malfunction is the least of her worries on this day though, because Polly may just have to give in to the sci fi craze when she runs into a real life incarnation of Detective Fabian. Breaking all of her own rules with this Detective Fabian could just be the best plan that Polly has ever had. Will getting to know the man behind the costume to worth the risk in the end, or will the fantasy be better than reality?
While the idea of getting to have some naughty fun with your favorite tv star always sounds like a good idea, I just had a hard time getting into this story. Things seemed to progress extremely fast between Polly and Fabian, and while in romance novels that is to be expected, it was almost too fast to be believable. More than once I had to stop reading this one to try and wrap my brain around the idea what was happening on these pages. Maybe others will enjoy the story, but this one just left me wanting something more.
