Review:

Jo wants Ted, but he wants nothing to do with her because he knows she is different and could crack his veneer. Joe goes out of her way to make sure she gets what she wants.

I really enjoyed this story even though there were some uncomfortable moments for me. There were times when I wanted to slap both Jo and Ted. Ted seemed to be insensitive in a few areas, and Jo, because she wasn’t willing to reveal her own issues that ultimately had a very big affect on both of them. I felt the author did a great job with how she handled the whole story. Be aware the issue of date-rape is addressed so be careful if this will trigger issues in the reader.

Be prepared for some very hot scenes between the two. The author did a great job of describing the scenes as well as some of the toys and the bed in Ted’s playroom. The bed is something I would love to recreate if I had room for it.

I did have to laugh at some of Jo’s behavior as it went a little beyond bratty. I did think Ted had some very creative techniques to deal with them. There were also times when I wanted to cry, but this is one book I got upset when interrupted while reading, as I did not want to put it down.

Don’t miss out on this book.  Reclaimed Surrender made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me really think about relationships.  This book had me hooked from beginning to end.  When I finished it, I was craving more of the story yet I was still analyzing pieces of this one – mulling them over.

Ok, we already know I loved this story.  Alexis and Rene have been together several years and in the last while, real life has gotten in the way of BDSM life.  Now, Rene is going to try and reclaim his wife and see if they can get back what is lost. This storyline really hits home for me, and I think it will for a lot of readers as well –whether in a BDSM relationship or just thinking about it.  There are times in life where we have to put on different hats and something we feel like we get lost in the shuffle.  I know as a submissive that I put all those hats on first and don’t think about myself or what I want.  In that respect and many others, I really could relate to Alexis and her struggles.
