Review:

First, let me start off by stating this is the first book I have read in this trilogy and also the first book I have read by Victoria Blisse. I do enjoy her writing style and will be looking to read more in the future.

Wild Rendezvous is a fun story that reads very quickly. Having not read the first two books, it takes a few pages to get into the swing of things between Leanna and Joe, but it’s not a bad transition. Leanna is a strong woman and a good character to invest your time in. Joe is an honorable man that is helping take care of his soon to be wife and her daughter. I did enjoy both characters without having the background on them. Wild Rendezvous seems like a great conclusion to the trilogy.

What a delightful experience I had reading this short novella. Naughty Rendezvous by Victoria Blisse is the first publication in a three part Rendezvous Series. The story revolves around Joe and Leanna. They’ve been chatting on the Internet and even though they have met before in person, Leanna has always had her baby with her so getting down and dirty with each other has been out of the question. Naughty Rendezvous takes the reader along on the couple’s first naughty encounter.

Even though the story is only 47 pages in length, the characters are quite well developed. You get to know the background to each, or some of it, and both Joe and Leanna are very likable. Joe is a Dom and Leanna is keen to learn a little bit about being submissive to him. Joe lovingly leads Leanna into some light activities. Spanking, some role play, and light bondage have Leanna wanting more. And I’m hoping she gets more in the second book. It was nice to read a story where the author allowed the outside activities of the characters to co-exist with their sexual appetite. There is discussion within the story of Joe’s commitment to work, Leanna’s status as a single mother and of course, concerns where the budding relationship will lead. BDSM is something the characters are interested in, the story isn’t an expose on a weekend of intense training, or two people involved in a 24/7 lifestyle commitment. The characters fit their activity into their everyday life, it’s an in the bedroom activity, and that’s how Joe and Leanna both seem to like it.
