Story Rating: 5 out of 5 paddles

Sting Factor (kink): 4 out of 5

This was a good story, with enjoyable characters and an interesting plot. While there is BDSM involved, it is very light, but that doesn’t detract from the heat.

Sawyer Quinn has been a Dom for a long time, but has never found a woman he wanted to keep full time-until he met Chloe Nash-who may be submissive, but has no knowledge of the BDSM lifestyle. When Sawyer asks for Chloe to help him track down the man who beat up his sister, he comes to know and like her even better. But he wants to be the one to introduce Chloe to his needs, and he has no desire to do it at his club, Club Sin. Can the vanilla and innocent Chloe accept his domination?

Both Chloe and Sawyer were likable characters. Chloe may not be familiar with the BDSM lifestyle, but as a private detective’s assistant, she knows how to do research. She also knows how to keep her cool and go for what she wants. Sawyer likes being in control, but he’s also protective and caring.

The story line is good, the characters well drawn, and the sex is hot. That makes this another good addition to the Club Sin series.

Thank you to BDSM Book Review for letting me stop by today. In my new release, CLAIMED, we are introduced to the Dom, Dmitri and his submissive, Presley. Today I’ve decided to sit down an interview Dmitri.

Here we go:

[Stacey] Hi everyone, and thank you Dmitri for spending some time with us today. For those who don’t know you, can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

[Dmitri] Interested in me, hmm? *winks* I’m Dmitri Pratt, owner of CLUB SIN, and also CEO of a casino in Vegas.

[Stacey] CLUB SIN is a BDSM club, right?

[Dmitri] Yes. Why are you interested in joining?

[Stacey] Um…HELL YES! *blushes* I mean to say, how does one become a member?

[Dmitri] I interview anyone who would like to join CLUB SIN. My club is exclusive and there are rules in place to ensure everyone is playing safely and under the rules that I live by. My club, my rules–it’s that simple. So, if you fit what I feel would make a good addition to CLUB SIN, then that is the only requirement.

[Stacey] There’s no membership fee?

[Dmitri smiles] I do believe giving your submission is enough of a payment.

[Stacey] Okay…*fans self* Enough of that talk, or this interview will end up with me blushing. Recently what is the biggest challenge you’ve faced?

[Dmitri] Facing love and accepting it.

[Stacey] And that was challenging because…?

[Dmitri] Because love can be messy. Sometimes a couple has to go through some emotional baggage to get to a place where love can grow. As you know, I’ve recently started a committed relationship with my submissive, Presley, and the challenge was discovering that we wanted to be together. It took some time to work out the kinks and find a good place that we could build upon.

[Stacey] So, you’ve worked out the kinks, then?

[Dmitri] *smiles* Things are good.

[Stacey] That’s great to hear. Presley is one lucky lady! From what CLUB SIN members tell us, you are a gentle Dom. Is that true?

[Dmitri] If the submissive needs a gentle touch, I am gentle. Though, don’t be mistaken, the submissive isn’t at CLUB SIN to play well within her comfort level. I will push her and play as I want, but that doesn’t mean I have to do that with a harsh hand.

[Stacey] All right, so we’ve also heard that you enjoy light BDSM. Can you comment on that?

[Dmitri] *smirks* Perhaps at first I keep things light, especially if the submissive is new to the lifestyle. Yes, I have hard limits myself and those rules must be followed in CLUB SIN, such as no breath play and no blood play, but I do like to push on those limits a submissive set out. It might just take us some time to gain the right amount of trust for me to take her further. I’m not in any rush–and I want the submissive to be happy, confident, and most of all enjoying her scenes.

[Stacey] Yep, I can see how trust is important. Now I’m sure everyone would like to know one event that helped to shape your personality?

[Dmitri] I imagine you’ve had quite a few moments that have happened that make you who you are, and yes, I’ve had quite a few of them, too. I suppose the one that changed me the most was when I first got into the BDSM lifestyle. It gave me purpose, controlled my dominant personality, and the sense of family I received at the dungeon was important to me.

[Stacey] Yeah, good friends are a must-have! So, tell us, what is one thing in the whole world you want most?

[Dmitri] A submissive that understands me as her Dom.

[Stacey] *happy sigh* I’m glad you’ve found that. Thank you so much for letting us get to know you better. Before we say goodbye, I’d like to ask you one more question–if you could say one thing to us to make us understand you what would it be?

[Dmitri] I’d say, “To your knees. You don’t ask questions. I do.”

Beg For It (Pact of Seduction) by Stacey Kennedy

Story Rating: 4 out of 5 paddles

Sting Factor (kink): 4 out of 5

Bella starts off trying to fulfill her pact of seduction by sleeping with another female, which fails miserably. Then at a party Master Kole, who has had a thing for Bella for a while, sets up a scene. Bella never considered herself submissive. She considers submitting to a man as weak. But With Kole his touch melts her. His look sets her on fire and so she agrees.

During the scene they meld perfectly. Kole demands and she submits until the very end when she refuses total submission. Kole ends the scene without letting her orgasm and she thinks she failed him. There’s a little bit of drama and then they then have a final scene. I won’t spoil it, but I will say that first scene was a sizzler. Anyone with an appreciation for a detailed BDSM scene will love Stacey Kennedy’s attention to detail. During the last scene  you actually feel Bella’s transformation. It’s a great read and I highly recommend it.

All She Wants For Christmas Is Her Dom
One Night Stand

Decadent Publishing [link to buy]

Rating: 4 out of 5 Paddles

Madame Eve’s 1NightStand service has brought together Blake and Taryn on a cold Christmas Eve at the Castillo Lodge. The two will set out on an adventure of pain and pleasure surrounded by Alaskan snow-capped mountains and nestled in a warm country lodge. But as the night develops, Taryn discovers it’s not Christmas presents that will surprise her but instead the very man who mastered her through a night of intense BDSM.

Taryn is a sub assigned to Dom Blake. They have a scene and in the end after she hot and bothered by his masterful dominance. He doesn’t have sex with her. She turns to find someone she knows standing her being her Dom of the night.

This scene was short at only 25 pages but very hot. I may or may not have read Stacey Kennedy in the past but this refreshes my memory enough to want to add her to my TBR pile. I’d you’re a fan of a little more heavy (spanking, bondage, self pleasure using a toy, detailed and descriptive wording of the acts) a little less (the romance is implied rather than developed) fluffy Bdsm this would satisfy you. It’s a bit richer in detail as far as the D/s exchange between both the sub and Dom.

Bind Me

Loose Id LLC [link to buy]

Rating: 2 out of 5 Paddles

If I was a vanilla girl this little novella might have given me a cheap thrill! I am not, however a vanilla girl, and I am no stranger to the dynamics of the D/s relationship. Bind Me is definitely not a great read for anyone that knows the BDSM world. There are too many things that frustrated the hell out of me about it and I felt like a Navy Seal watching GI Jane at times.

There really are too many little things that did not sit well with me to go into detail but I will say that as a Dom goes I would not touch Master Reed with a ten foot pole. Firstly because he contradicted himself and went against an expectation he defined in the interview phase. Secondly because he had no restraint whatsoever and any good Dom will tell you that is inexcusable. Thirdly because any dom that leaves a sub during the aftercare phase is despicable, no matter what emotional turmoil he might be going through because he just did the whole cliche omg I need to run away from my emotions thing.

As I said before any vanilla girl that reads this might enjoy it and get a little thrill, but I would warn them that Bind Me is not a good representation of BDSM in any way.

I give 2 paddles out of 5 for some pleasant visual imagery moments in between the moments I was sighing in exasperation.
